Goan Welfare Society (UK)
A UK registered charity (No. 280542) set up to provide welfare support to Goans living in Britain, particularly as the community has grown older and needs for support have grown with it. It offers financial and practical assistance in cases of hardship -- such as repatriation or funeral arrangements -- and coordinates access to Catholic hospital chaplains for Goan patients across London. It works closely with the Goan Association (UK), the Goan Chaplaincy and the Youth Goan Association UK, and is always looking for volunteers to help sustain its work.
